This kettle by Alessi displays a mix of different cultural aspects: the basketball phenomenon and its multicultural imagery, an integral part of Virgil Abloh's personal history with the world of design and its codified references. The whistle is completely redesigned, taking the form of a basketball player charging powerfully towards the basket, while the colours of the handle and button are enhanced with an intense purple.
