about the creator
In 1987, at a time when extravagant prints and XXL shoulders were flourishing, Jean Touitou launched clothes with pure shapes and sober colours, without any brand or label. The first men's collection of what would become A.P.C., for "Atelier de Production et de Création", seduced aesthetes with its impeccable cuts and noble materials, including Japanese denim jeans that have become a cult. Simplicity is what Jean Touitou, an atypical personality of Tunisian origin who found himself in fashion by chance (he worked for Kenzo and Agnès B.) and who defines his style as "radically normal". More than 30 years later, A.P.C. is still there with timeless pieces that we love to wear again and again. The jeans, jumpers, T-shirts and shoes of the Parisian brand form the outlines of a perfect wardrobe for today's man. The success story now continues with women's collections, with equally minimalist lines inspired by the men's collections. You will also find handbags with a timeless design, often adorned with the equally sleek logo of the Parisian house.
